Cynthia Atkinson is a freelance artist living and working in New York.

Cynthia has always been captivated by the experience of creating art. The process of working with texture, neutral colors and movement has always been a passion. Her work is a direct reflection of her journey through life, her surroundings, and experiences growing up in New York City.

She credits a large part of her inspiration from years studying at The Fashion Institute of Technology and a 20+ year career working at iconic fashion brands Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors which enabled her to combine her love for art, fashion and business. This passion is a major theme that continues to bring life and vision to her work.

Cynthia believes art can be a means of expression and her desire to paint and create new pieces of work continues to grow and evolve.
